Went to the office. AD told me about my project. Looks like I’ll be organizing a super-sized Excel file. My laptop is outdated so I’ll be using a carbon copy they have with a newer OS. I tried riding a Jammie Shuttle to the Upper Campus, but wound up waiting half an hour. Supposedly, it’s b/c it’s holiday. I decided to walk it. It took about 50 min. I was just fed up w/ all the horror stories. What’s the point of living here if I’m too worried to walk down the street? People stared at me of course. I think it might have to do with the way I’m dressed. I look like money in a place that has none. That sounds arrogant, I know. The path to UC wasn’t exactly pedestrian friendly. Got my ID and waited for the shuttle. I owe my wait in part to AD. He told me to take bus 6, but that was completely useless advice. You think he’d know his campus’ services a bit better. He also lost my saved tabs trying to configure my laptop for use on the school’s network. Bogus.
