Went out to Franschhoek w/ Vidar, Christine, John, Gowry, Joselyn and their friends. It was the whitest place I’ve seen in Cape Town. We went around tasting wines and I got my tourist game on. Bought a beret and haggled for a a couple of statues (including a green elephant). It has been lovely weather all week and according to Louisa’s Danish weather forecast, it’ll be sunny for at least another week. Hans and Erling left today. It’s much quieter w/o the Norwegians. I’m heading on my trip to Port Elizabeth tomorrow w/ Vidar and Christine. I took out 3000R ($500) which is ridiculous. I expect to ride an ostrich, quad bike and horseback ride along the way. I’ll be skipping out on work unfortunately. I’ll have hell to pay when I back to school. AD also won’t be too happy. No crazy trips after this. Might go to Stellenbausch to pet a cheetah. That will have to make up for not holding a lion cub. That would leave sharkdiving, Cape Pt and the wine tour. Pissing away a lot of money, but I’m only in SA once in my life. Watching The Namesake w/ Tina, Louisa and John. Oh and libido kicked in now thanks to Jos’ tights and Tina’s short shorts. Dammit.
